Certification Management System
Excuse me for asking, but what is Certification Management?
For starters - peace of mind. TMS
2000 will gently and easily guide you through the certification
process - all-the-while - providing you clear, concise, complete documentation
for your files. It selects which of your residents need to be re-certified. It
generates the necessary documentation (letters, verification forms, etc..) you
need to complete and document the certification. It tracks and reports on the
status of each re-certification in-process.
Sounds Great! How does it work? I'm glad you asked. Once a
month - get a fresh cup of coffee and grab that article or HUD PIH notice
you've been wanting to read. You let TMS
2000 select who needs to be re-certified and print out the
necessary documents (the Resident Packet). As the resident packets are
generated - in proper, collated, resident-by-resident order - you take a slow
sip of coffee and relax as you ponder how tedious and time consuming this
process used to be. You breath a sigh of relief knowing the forms included in
each packet will be intelligently selected according to each individual
resident's circumstances.
What all is included in the resident packet? In General, your
main-stream or common forms and verifications are included. These include:
"mail-ready" Resident Re-Certification Notices, Information Control
Sheets, Income Sources Worksheet, Privacy Act Notice and Authorization for
Release of Information, Fraud Notification and pre-addressed second party
verification notices like Employer, V.A. or Social Security. As you might have
guessed, ALL the forms, letters, etc. are our own copyrighted version produced
via our unique TrueForms forms engine.
The forms themselves warrant special comment. All of the forms
included in our system were designed and/or prepared by practicing CPA's who
know and understand audit evidence and the elements necessary to make the
evidence concise and persuasive. To illustrate - the "Income Sources
Worksheet" is an excellent dual source of protection for the authority as
it i) documents the authority did look for and try to identify includable
income sources and ii) clearly and concisely documents the residents own
assertions regarding their household income and composition.
